How did you become a Daystar Singer?
Marcus and Joni used to attend my church and heard me sing in the choir every week. One time, during a revival service led by Rodney Howard-Browne, I was asked to sing a song called “He’ll Be There” five times! It’s a really challenging song to sing and requires 110% every time you sing it, so from that day forward they knew me as the “He’ll Be There Girl.” Later, when the time came for the Daystar Singers to be assembled, Joni wanted me to audition and the rest is history!
What is your favorite memory as a Daystar Singer, and why?
I loved making music videos with Fred Hammond for our album, No Chains! Singing with Fred was definitely on my “bucket list.” I feel so blessed that God fulfilled that dream through Daystar!

Sharon Tinsley
Soprano

Since childhood, Sharon has been deeply passionate about music. Her mother loved to remind her through the years that she “came out of the womb singing.” Encouraged by her family and friends, Sharon has faithfully pursued her dream, always using her talent for God’s glory. She eventually earned her degree in Music Education and continued singing in the choir of her home church before joining the Daystar Singers and Band in 2003. When she’s not on stage, you can find Sharon in the kitchen pursuing her other passion, baking! She also enjoys serving in her role as an Assistant to Daystar’s Production Manager, Lane Trammell.
